Size:4 lb | Color:-1 Supreme Premium Ferret Diet is a nutritious, highly digestible diet designed to meet the complete nutritional needs of ferrets. Formulated with real egg and fresh, never frozen chicken, it delivers high levels of protein. Contains no corn or fishmeal. Requires no supplements. Feeding Instructions – Premium Ferret Diet Formulated to be a ferret’s primary food. Feed free choice and limit amount of other foods and treats to 10% of a ferret’s diet. Remove old food and replenish with new food daily. Always provide clean, fresh water. Weaning – Moisten food with warm water until soft. Replace uneaten food after a few hours. Slowly introduce a few dry nuggets. Growing Ferrets – Feed free choice and offer as much as the ferret will eat. Adult Ferrets – Feed free choice. On average, ferrets will consume 1⁄2 to 1⁄3 cup of food per day. Adjust to maintain optimal body weight. Reproducing Jill's – Significantly more food is needed during pregnancy and until the kits are weaned. Feed free choice and assure your ferret is offered more than she usually eats. Converting to a Supreme Ferret Diet – Mix the previous diet with the new Supreme diet. Over seven to 14 days gradually decrease the old diet and increase the new diet until it makes up 100% of the total diet. Note – Always monitor for changes in weight and body condition, preventing excessive thinness or obesity.
